- Where can I find Ella's delicious products?
You can purchase Ella's Wisdom products trough different channels:

- Do I need to be home to take delivery?
It is recommended for you to be home to take the delivery, or otherwise leave a note at the checkout with instructoins for the courier. If no instructions are left, the courier will leave the parcel at your stepdoor. We try and minimize redelivery as depending by the weather, it might spoil food. 99% of our deliveries with courier are received within 24 hours from pick up, so our products will not need constant refrigeration, but they should be stored properly asap. If you require us to access secure parts of your home or building in order to receive the delivery, please notify us of this at the time of placing your order. Please keep us up to date with any changes that might affect our ability to deliver to you. If we cannot access your building because of changes that we have not been notified of, we will attempt to contact you to make other arrangements. If we are unable to deliver in such circumstances, we reserve the right to charge you for unsuccessful delivery in any event.
- What is the minimum order for delivery?
There is no minimum order required, no order is too big or small for us. Big orders are more recommended to make a better use of your freight charge. Any order above $75 will receive free postage in all Sydney metro area, otherwise a $5 fee applies.
- Do you also cater for birthday parties, functions or baby showers?
We are able to cater for your needs, please contact us in advance to arrange terms and condition. As catering is not our main business, we work on a custom based experience. We can provide cakes, finger foods, or bulk foods as well. We also collaborate with Merveille french event styling for all your visual design needs.
- What are my payment options?
Payment can be made by Visa, Mastercard, Amex or paypal online. All the orders will have to be paid in full before being delivered.
- What are the postcodes included in your home delivery service?
Products with a more stable shelf life like pizza bases, cookies and granola can be delivered all over Australia (freight charges applies). For products like bread and brownie, we aim to send them frozen to prolong the shelf life, but at this stage we can only deliver to Sydney Metro, Wollongong area, Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Melbourne, Canberra, Gold Coast, Brisbane.

- Do you sell bulk quantities?
We offer two different options on our website for larger quantities: bulk size with a saving of 20% and wholesale price.
Allergies & Nutritional information
- Are your products allergen-free?
There are nine foods that cause 90% of food allergic reactions, including cow's milk, egg, peanut, tree nuts, sesame, soy, fish, shellfish and wheat.
All our products are free from all of the 9 most common allergens (except for our bread rolls, that have sesame seeds on top). We recently took off nuts from our products, so traces might still be found, however we really take extreme care in creating an allergen free environment.
We work with some pre-owed equipment that could have been in contact in the past with gluten, canola, eggs or dairy, but we have been very accurate in cleaning them in order to prevent any cross contamination, and we never had any issue in the past 2 years of business.
Even tough, if your known allergy cause anaphylaxis, we would not recommend to take any risk, until our products will run regular testing. If there is something in particular you are allergic to, be sure to contact our team for more allergen information.
- Does your product contain peanuts or tree nuts?
Our products do not contain peanuts. We used to manufacture products with tree nuts in, but we don't anymore. All our products however, contain coconut and derivates.
- Can I consume Ella's Wisdom products if I’m allergic to gluten or dairy?
Our products are completely free of gluten, grains and dairy. We have our own dedicated production facility to eliminate any chances
- Isn't buckwheat a grain?
No, buckwheat is not a grain, is a seed. Despite the name, it is not related to wheat, as it is not a grass. Instead, buckwheat is related to sorrel, knotweed, and rhubarb. Because its seeds are eaten and rich in complex carbohydrates, it is referred to as a pseudocereal. Some people on a high fat low carb regime decide to avoid it, but we personally believe it is a nutritious, helpful tool in grain free baking, and is easily tolerated. In our newest products, however, we have decided to eliminate it, to make them even easier on your tummy.
We simply recommend you to try and see how you go, your body will tell you if it is the right choice.
- Do your products contain soy?
Our products are completely free of soy and soy derivates.
- Where can I get more information about food sensitivities and allergies?
We would recommend you to get in contact with your local nutritionist or dietitian, and get tested to make sure you really know more about your body.

- Are Ella's Wisdom products Kosher?
Unfortunately they are not yet certified kosher, as it is a pretty long and costly process, and we are not ready for it.
- Are Ella's Wisdom products natural?
We use natural ingredients as ingredients of our products, however there are things that are not avoidable at this stage. The yeast used in the bread contains vitamin C (E300) and vegan vegetable emulsifier (E491). In our biscuits we use a natural raising agent, 100% safe and more tolerated than yeast called GDL (E575) mixed with sodium bicarbonate.
- Do your products contain any animal products or by-products?
None of our products contains animal products or byproducts.
- Do you have a company nutritionist?
Yes, we are proudly partnered with Rebecca McPhee, aka the cultured nutritionist, whom has the very tough job to taste and give the tick of approval to all Ella's Wisdom products nutritional profile.

- Do your products contain protein?
Seeds and nuts are a valuable source of natural occurring vegetable protein. No other external protein sources are added.
We are looking into adding some protein into our products in the near future, but at this stage none of the protein we tested has proven satisfactory.
- Do your products contain preservatives or artificial ingredients?
Our products are free of preservatives and artificial ingredients, colourings or sweeteners.
Freshness & Packaging
- How long will your products stay fresh for?
Dry products such as biscuits, granola) are recommended to be eaten within 3 months to keep quality at the highest. They should be kept in airtight containers, away from humidity. Refrigerated products (pizza bases, bread, brownie) will be sent with frozen expire date of 1 year, we recommend to eat within 2 weeks after defrosting, and store them in the fridge in the meanwhile. Toasting or warming up after defrosting are recommended.
- Are Ella's Wisdom products safe to consume if they aren’t refrigerated?
We don’t recommend consuming our products if they’ve been left out of the refrigerator for more than 24-36 hours, but being plant based, they are very unlikely to harm you (also depending by outside temperature and humidity). Refrigeration is important because our products do not contain any preservatives.
- Are all your products really handmade from scratch?
Yes they are, we follow the production from scratch ourselves, and we don't buy anything that has more than 1 ingredient listed. Every products is handmade, with the help of some machinery, like a strong seed grinder, and a 40lt planetary machine.
